All flags are hand made using locally salvaged tobacco wood from the surrounding New England towns. The stripes are made from wooden slats that are hung inside the tobacco barns and used for drying the leaves. These slats get their encridible character from the tobacco leaves drapped over them for the drying season. These flags are filled with character and no two ever come out the same. Enjoy these flags inside your house (no oder is accompanied with the wood) or in a covered outdoor setting. Although it is NOT recomended to let the flags sit directly in the harsh New England elements a weather sealent can be added for extra protection.  
 
Measurments vary from piece to piece but are roughly 37" wide x 19" tall x 1" thickness and weighing around 10lbs. A 50lb wall hanger z clip and hardware kit is included with each flag sale.
